MBTA ELECTRIC BUS TRAINING

Belmont Fire was fortunate to host a class on the new MBTA electric buses, one of which will enter service next week. Today, Group 4 was on duty, but our other three groups will complete the training in the near future.

FALL BACK SAFELY – CHECK YOUR ALARMS

As you change your clocks this morning, be sure to check your alarms! Check the dates on the back of these devices. If these alarms use alkaline batteries, change the batteries. Smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years. Carbon monoxide alarms should be replaced every 5, 7, or 10 years depending on the make or model.

BELMONT FIRE OBTAINS NARCAN LEAVE BEHIND KITS

With the support of the Opioid Settlement Fund and our partners at the Health Department, Leave Behind Kits have been acquired. These kits may be left with a person successfully treated for potential opioid use regardless of whether or not they were transported to the hospital. Screenshot
