On March 4, 1985 while operating at Box 74 for a house fire on Scott Road, Firefighter Roland A. Weatherbee, “Rollie,” of Engine Company 3, made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Yesterday, current members and retirees gathered with friends and family, to pay tribute to Firefighter Roland A. Weatherbee, on the 41st anniversary of his passing. The annual ceremony takes place at Roland A. Weatherbee Fire Headquarters at 299 Trapelo Road.
