On Monday evening a badge pinning and promotional ceremony was held at fire headquarters. Michael Madruga was promoted to captain, and Dennis Maher was promoted to lieutenant. Additionally, our five newest firefighters received their badges and helmet shields. FFOP Brown, FFOP Heurtelou, and FFOP Ashline successfully completed the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy at the end of December. FFOP O’Riordan and FFOP Flodstrom come to Belmont with experience from other departments. Congratulations to everyone, stay safe!
