On Sunday morning Engine 1 and C-3 participated in a training exercise in Somerville. The evolution simulated a fire on a commuter rail train, requiring extinguishment of the fire, and the treatment and transport of multiple volunteer patients. Numerous Metro Fire agencies, police departments, and EMS agencies also participated in the training.
