Engine 1, a 2025 E-One Typhoon custom pumper, was placed in service on Tuesday June 10th, 2025. Shortly after 1pm, the new pumper responded on its first incident, a fire alarm activation on the McLean Hospital campus. LT Maher, Firefighter Goode, and Firefighter Cherkerzian were assigned to Engine 1. Thank you to everyone who assited in preparing the pumper to go into service quickly after delivery from the dealer.
